The centerpiece of the Platteville Family Aquatic Center is a 12,000+ square-foot zero-depth-entry pool completed in the spring of 1996. The pool has a large, fan-shaped zero-depth-entry area, a 140-foot waterslide, geysers, diving boards, and 8 racing lanes. Adjacent to the main pool is a tot pool. The facility includes a newly-designed Accessible bath house. Additionally of a full service concession building with access from both inside and outside the pool enclosure has been added.
