What Is SCORE?
The Service Corps of Retired Executives is a non-profit
organization, sponsored by the Small Business Administration, dedicated to
entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small businesses
nationwide.
Who Is SCORE?
This organization is comprised of
retirees from diverse business backgrounds.
- Small Business Owners
- Accountants
- Attorneys
- Engineers
- Sales and Marketing Executives
- Retailers
- Construction Managers
- And Many Other Vocations
These people volunteer their time
to counsel others who need help with various aspects of their own small
business. Whether it be help with start up, operation or expansion of an
existing business.
What Services are
provided?
We offer special assistance,
reference materials, advice and counseling for new and existing small business
owners in our area.
The counseling is free and
private. It consists of an advisory board that will meet with you on a
continuing basis, the board is call the Score Board.
The objective of the Score is to
provide you with a match for your specific business needs. The counselors will
discuss and review the clients question and business plans in complete
confidentiality.
Costs?
This is a free counseling
service, but there maybe moderate fees or charges for special publications,
workshops or seminars.
