Women in Business

October is designated as National Women in Business Month. According to the 2026 Wells Fargo Impact of Women-Owned Businesses Report, women own 15.7 million businesses nationwide, representing 40.6% of all U.S. businesses and generating approximately $2.8 trillion in annual revenue.

The Platteville Regional Chamber encourages you to seek out area women-owned businesses and show your support locally by making a purchase or sharing social media posts. The online directory can be found at platteville.com under the Chamber Information tab.

In celebration of National Women in Business Month, the Platteville Regional Chamber is inviting members of our local workforce to join us for our Women in Business Breakfast. This women-only event will feature a panel discussion, an opportunity to grow your network along with little fun and games. This year we will be networking in The Parlor at Rountree on Thursday morning, October 29. Chamber Membership is NOT required to attend. More information at platteville.com.

Reserve your tickets by Friday, October 23! Tickets are $25 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members. Call the Chamber office at 608-348-8888 or visit platteville.com for more information.
